Laundry Rooms
These days they have become these beautiful control centres if you will. In custom building I continue to see these more elevated & multi-purpose laundry rooms being requested and incorporated into floor plans and home design.
With features like drying racks, hanging racks, extra storage, dog showers, double sinks, benches, sconce lighting, 6’ folding areas and more, the list truly goes on and on.
When we show friends and family our laundry room the response is usually, ‘wow there’s so much space’. I spend a lot of time doing laundry, so I like to have room to breathe. We also took advantage of the space by adding some extra storage which I make great use out of.
I think people are having more fun designing their laundry rooms these days (seriously, I’ve put some kick-ass glamourous light fixtures in clients laundry rooms) and they give the space the same attention they do to other larger areas of the house.
